To the website of the Albanian Water Regulatory Authority (WRA), the independent regulator of the Albanian water supply and sewerage sector. In the following pages you can find out who we are, what we do, and how to contact us.
It is our Mission To ensure for all Albanians that water and sewerage service providers deliver the highest achievable quality at a fair price and in a financially sustainable manner. How we are going to achieve this  We regulate service providers in the Albanian water supply and sewerage sector according our legal mandate and aim to achieve the best value for our regulatory role.
 Consumer protection is at the heart of our work. We set incentives that encourage efficiency and service delivery improvements for the benefit of consumers, and we act as mediator during complaints procedures.
 We aim to help the water supply and sewerage companies to achieve financial sustainability and use benchmarking to set challenging but achievable performance targets. We consider the views of all stakeholders and cooperate with all interested parties to promote the development of the water supply and sewerage sector. We publish information on the current water services situation and our analysis of developments in the sector. We champion best practice examples wherever possible. We will fulfill our regulatory role in a transparent, predictable and non-discriminatory manner.
